These terms and conditions govern your use of our website. Please read these terms in full before you use this website. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this website. Your continued use of this website confirms your acceptance of these terms.
1.1 It is not necessary to register with us in order to use most parts of this website. However, particular areas of this website will only be accessible only if you have registered.
Use of website
1.2 This website may be used for your own private purposes and in accordance with these terms and conditions.
1.3 You may print and download material from this website provided that you do not modify or reproduce any content without our prior written consent.
1.4 All reasonable measures are taken by us to ensure that this website is operational all day, every day. However, occasionally technical issues may result in some downtime and accordingly we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time.
1.5 Where possible we always try to give advance warning of maintenance issues that may result in website down time but we shall not be obliged to provide such notice.
Visitor provided material
1.7 When using this website you shall not post or send to or from this website any material:
(a) for which you have not obtained all necessary consents;
(b) that is discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, liable to incite racial hatred, in breach of confidentiality or privacy, which may cause annoyance or inconvenience to others, which encourages or constitutes conduct that would be deemed a criminal offence, give rise to a civil liability, or otherwise is contrary to the law in the United Kingdom;
(c) which is harmful in nature including, and without limitation, computer viruses, Trojan horses, corrupted data, or other potentially harmful software or data.
1.8 We will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requiring us to disclose the identity or other details of any person posting material to this website in breach of Paragraph 1.7.

Exclusion of liability
1.14 We do not accept liability for any loss or damage that you suffer as a result of using this website.
1.15 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence which cannot be excluded or under the law of the United Kingdom.
We will always endeavour to meet and exceed your requirements.
Correct at time of insertion. The website is regularly updated and the final price will be confirmed at the time of quotation/invoice.
Special prices can be given on request if your work fits well in with what we have in production. Please call for information. Large quantities or contract work will be priced on application and can be fixed for a period in writing.
2.3 Delivery/Despatch Time
We use Royal Mail and private courier companies and pallet services for bulk.
A despatch reference/tracking number is always on file and to date our transport partners have a superb record of "on-time" delivery. Where an error occurs we will quickly liaise with the transport company and make sure you are inconvenienced as little as possible.
Orders that are time specific will be given a delivery date with order - if 3-5 days is given at the time of order then this mean that we will take 3-5 working days as defined as days with the London Clearing Banks.
Standard Order: Place order, provide artwork proof within 1-2 working days, once approved the order will be printed and despatched within 3-5 working days.
2.4 Return/Refund & Cancellation Policy
Return/Refund - any item/s printed incorrectly by GPD will be refunded or reprinted at the customers request. Any item printed by GPD from an approved proof will only be reprinted after payment has been recieved for the reprint.
All returns should be sent to Gallop Print & Design, 8 Barham Close, Hastings, East Sussex TN34 2PA. All return items should be clearly labelled, well packaged and proof of posting/sending should be obtained.
Any item that is incorrect/faulty must be reported to GPD within 7 working days from date of receipt and information regarding the fault, quantity, invoice reference should be given.
All items that are to be returned must be returned within 3 days after the initial 7 day notification period.
All complaints will be dealt with within 3 working days from receipt. A full report will be supplied to the customer and remedial action and preventative action will be taken.
Cancellation - Once print has been started on press or completed no refund can be given. If the order is cancelled prior to print (at artwork stage) the print order can be cancelled. In the event of cancellation prior to print any monies that have been taken will be refunded in full
minus the cost for plating/imposing the artwork. Any material already used will be charged.

2.6 Legal Documents
Any document that forms part of a contract will be securely stored.
2.7 Artwork Charge
We do not normally charge for artwork. On occasion if your requirement is very complex then an agreed fee will be charged for the artwork part of your order.
If you are not buying print and only buying design then the payment for this will be take in full for the completed artwork.
2.8 Colour Representation
Production from artwork designed by GPD - colours will be re-produced using the CMYK settings from the artwork. Complaints regarding colour will not be entertained from customers checking the colour on a uncalloborated monitor. If we use artwork supplied and the colour is not as CMYK then colour shifts should be expected as RGB colours will not print the same in CMYK.
Customers who require a specific colour should enquire about a proof prior to print - this may be chargeable.
We do not guarantee to match previously printed artwork without the correct artwork file. This must be viewed on a like for like basis - i.e, same paper type, coating (gloss/matt) and grammage.
Unless agreed in writing the copyright of the artwork, commissioned artwork, illustrations and any other item prepared, designed or created by Gallop Print & Design shall belong to Gallop Print & Design. We shall use any artwork or printed item to promote ourselves.
It is the customers responsibility to obtain the relevant consent to reproduce pictures, artwork or photographs, copyright text prior to instructing Gallop Print & Design to reproduce them. It is also the responsibility of the customer to indemnify themselves against all claims, actions and costs, including legal costs and disbursements. It is is essential that the customer of Gallop Print & Design is confident of the legal position they hold with regards to all aspects of the items they require designing/reproducing and ensures that the materials, artwork, photographs and pictures do not infringe on a third parties intellectual property, copyright or trademark.
2.10 GPD Imprint
Gallop Print & Design withholds the right to add the imprint of "Printed by Gallop Print & Design" or "Printed by gallopprint.com" on any item in a suitable position on the item. This can be agreed in advance that it is not present, say for TRADE work or we can agree a discount fee for adding the imprint.
GPD always offer fantastic prices and will continue to amend prices to make buying print as cost effective as possible - Payment is therefore due at time of order. Payment terms can be arranged for contract work or regular repeats of the same item. Payment will be taken prior to print - depending on the complexity of the order the payment may be taken before or after artwork.
In the event we are required to supply a variation in quantity then we shall advise the customer and either agree a pro-rata refund or advise a new delivery date for the remaining amount.
2.13 Unsuitable Matter
We have taken the decision to not print adult material. We will also not produce material that is deemed libelous or for an illegal enterprise. If we produce work, for example, newsletters, flyers that turn out to be defamatory GPD will not be held responsible for any subsequent legal action.
2.14 Force Majeure
GPD shall be under no liability if it shall be unable to perform any obligation which is owed by it to the customer for any reason beyond his control including (without limiting the foregoing) Act of God, legislation, war, fire, flood, drought, failure of power supply, failure of telephone supply, lock-out, strike or other action taken by employees in contemplation or furtherance of a dispute or owing to any inability to procure materials required for the performance of the contract. During the continuance of such a contingency the customer may by written notice to GPD elect to terminate the contract and pay for work done and materials used, but subject thereto shall otherwise accept delivery when available.

Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
